Who we're registered with.
The breed associations and bodies we're members of, and what that means for buyers.
Breed associations
Membership of breed associations matters because it means the sheep we breed can be properly registered and traced. When you buy from us, you get the paperwork to back it up.
Valais Blacknose
Registered with the recognised Valais Blacknose breed bodies in Australia and participating in the official breed-up program. Lamb papers will show generation (F1, F2, F3, etc) and parentage.
Babydolls (Olde English Southdowns)
Member of the Australian Sheep Breeders Association (ASBA) and the Babydoll Southdown Association of Australia (BSAA). All breeding stock is registered.
Elliottdale
Member of the Rare Breeds Trust of Australia (RBTA) and the Australian Sheep Breeders Association (ASBA). Elliottdales are on the RBTA priority list as a critically rare breed.
Paperwork you'll get with every sheep
- NLIS eID tag (in the ear, required by law in SA from 1 January 2025)
- National Vendor Declaration (NVD) covering health and treatment history
- Sheep Health Declaration covering biosecurity status
- Breed registration paperwork where applicable
- Pedigree details for breeding stock, including parentage and breed-up generation for Valais
If you have questions about any of this, just ask us. Better to ask before than be unsure after.
